Chocolate Layered Bars - Scrumptious
In a medium-size saucepan, add 3.5 ounces Half & half (100g) + 1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips ( 227g) + 2/3 pkg cream cheese (151g). Stir in.

Stir until completely melted. Add 2/3 cup chopped pecans (76g) + 1/2 tsp almond extract. Stir to mix in, remove from heat & set aside.

For bottom & top layer: Preheat oven 375 F. Combine 2 c.(249g) flour’+ 2/3c(151g)butter + 1 c(198g)sugar + 1 tsp baking powder in a food processor.

Mix until mixtures resembles coarse crumbs.

Lightly oiled 9x9 inch pan w/ parchment paper sling. Press 1/2 of the mixture into the bottom of the pan.

Spread the chocolate filling evenly over the bottom layer.

Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the chocolate filling layer.

Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Once done, remove from heat. Remove from the parchment sling paper. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
