Press it in firmly into the bottom

and up the sides of pan

Transfer to a sheet pan and bake until golden then allow to cool while making the filling

Place in a bowl with the heavy cream

Marsala or your choice of alcohol (rum, frangelico, kahlua)

And vanilla extract

Mix and then melt in microwave in 20 second increments (you can also do this stovetop on low heat)

Until smooth and creamy

Poor into cooled crust

Smooth out evenly then refrigerate 1-2 hours until set

Make topping: Add your mascarpone to a large bowl

Mix for a few seconds to loosen it up

Then mix in the sugar

Then mix in the cream pouring it in gradually

Mix just until firm peaks form and can hold shape - do not overmix

Pipe on the cream or slather it on in swirls
