Christmas Crack (Tempting Toffee Crisps)
Gather ingredients: 1 cup semisweet chips, 1/2 cup nuts, 12 graham crackers, 1.5 sticks butter & 1 tsp vanilla.

Line large bar pan(cookie sheet) with parchment paper! Break graham crackers in half and line the bar pan with them.

Add 1.5 sticks butter, 1 tsp vanilla & 3/4 cup brown sugar to saucepan -med heat. Melt until surface is boils, cont 4 mins, continually stirring.

Pour sugar and butter mixture over graham crackers. Spread to cover all crackers.

Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.

Sprinkle 1 cup semi-sweet chips over top and let melt.

When the chips look “sweaty”, use a spreader to form a thin layer of chocolate on top of the toffee layer.

Add 1/2 cup of your favorite chopped nut on top. Let cool completely. (Can also add nuts to toffee before pouring on graham crackers.)
