Pick your image and set measurements in your Design Studio. Then print on clear waterslide.
1
Trim the access paper around your image. Let your ink dry.
2
After drying, spray 3-4 thin layers of Rustoleum 2x Clear Coat spray to seal if using an Inkjet.
3
Once your clear coat is dry. Pour some warm water in a cookie sheet and place waterslide in.
4
Let the water slide soak for 30-60 seconds or until it starts to release from the backing. Wet cup.
5
Start placing the waterslide on the cup. Slowly turn your cup as you pull the paper backing away.
6
Using a flat silicone brush I start in the middle and push the water out from underneath.
7
If you have an area that creases. Cut with your scissors and lay it flat. It’s ok if it over laps.
8
Continue working your water out. I am using a lint free tea towel and pressing down lightly.
9
After you have removed all the water, add a thin layer of Quick Coat.
10
Mix around 10 ml each part of your resin. I use CCDIY Artist Resin.
11
Apply resin to your cup with a gloved finger.
12
After applying resin quickly hit with a torch to pop any bubbles.
13
While you cup is curing you can cut and weed your decal.
14
After weeding apply transfer tape and you’re ready to apply to cup once it’s cured.
15
Place your decal and apply a final layer of resin, hit with a torch then let cure.
16
Once completely cured it’s ready for use.
