Cinnamon Apple Stuffed French Toast
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a frying pan. Add 1 lb.peeled & sliced apples (2-3 apples)

Add 2 tbsp granulated sugar + 1/2 tsp apple pie spice + 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

Stir to coat evenly. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice + 1 tbsp all-purpose flour. Stir again to mix.

Add 1/2 cup apple cider. Stir thoroughly.

Cook until apples begin to soften. Add apple cider if needed. Remove from heat & set aside.

Cream Cheese Filling: Add 1/4 cup powdered sugar into 6 oz.cream cheese (170g) + 1 tbsp maple syrup.

Mix together & set aside until ready to stuff the french toast.

Assemble & cook the stuffed French Toast: Slice a loaf of Challah Bread into 16 slices.

Spread generous amount of the cream cheese filling. Top w/ another slice of bread. Set aside.

Whisk together 6 large egg & 1/4 cup milk. Dip each sandwhich in the egg mixture.

Melt a little butter on medium heat. Fry sandwhich until a golden brown on both sides.

Remove from the pan.

Serve immediately w/ the cinnamon apple topping + candied pecans.

Maple syrup + Top w/ a dollop of whipped cream.
