City Guide Chicago 10 Must Go Places
Hey! I’m Savanna from Swift.n.Savvy travel blog and here are my 10 must do’s in Chicago, IL
📍Cloud Gate (aka The Bean)
You don’t go to Chicago without seeing The Bean! Get there in the first hour of opening to beat the crowds!
📍Wrigley Field home of the Chicago Cubs
Wrigley is the 2nd oldest baseball park in the U.S. go in the summer and catch a game in this historic park!
📍Sky Deck Chicago at Willis Tower
$26 adults or $18 children general admission. To view the “ledge” this glass box, requires you to wait in line and has a 3 minute time limit
📍Lake Michigan, North Avenue Beach
Get amazing views of the city and the lake for free! You can swim at the beach, rent a bike and ride along the water, or have a picnic!
📍Chicago Riverwalk / River Cruise
Great city views and many restaurants along the riverwalk. Take a cruise down the river, cheapest is the Chicago Water Taxi!
📍360 Chicago at the John Hancock Center
$22 adults, $15 children for general admission or you can go up to 96th floor lounge for free with purchase of food or beverage and get the same views
📍Chicago Broadway or Comedy Show
Although Hamilton is no longer there, it was amazing! Chicago is also home to so many comedy shows!
📍Maggie Daley Park
Amazing park with large playgrounds (big enough for adults). It’s free and great to bring kids, great views of the city too
📍Crown Fountain located within Millennium Park
Interactive work of art with its video sculpture and fountain. Kids even play in it during the summers! Open 6am-11pm daily.
3,300 foot long pier on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. It has many shops, gardens, and restaurants. Take a ride on the large Ferris wheel too!
