Cocoa Bombs using Mini Freezer Bowls
Gather ingredients: chocolate (should have cocoa butter), hot cocoa mix, toppings (marshmallows, crushed candy canes, etc. use your imagination!)
1
Melt about 1 cup chocolate and 1t coconut oil in microwave for 30 seconds.
2
Repeat in 15 second increments until melted. Do not over do it!
3
Smooth and creamy, yum!
4
Coat the freezer cups with melted chocolate about half way up.
5
Freeze 15 minutes and repeat once more.
6
Carefully pull the silicone edges away from the chocolate a little at a time.
7
Twist on a hot plate- this makes the edges even.
8
All 1-2 Tablespoons hot cocoa mix and desired toppings.
9
One more run around on the hot plate to melt the edges and quickly place on top of the bottom half.
10
Take a little melted chocolate on the seams to seal up your "bomb".
11
Decorate! Have fun and use your creativity.
12
I like to heat the milk in the Deluxe Cooking Blender for easy clean up.
13
Pour hot milk over the bomb and watch it do it's thing!
14
You can add some Kailua or Baileys for an adult treat!
