Cooper's Rock Overlook, WV, In All 4 Seasons
Summer brings so much green! Between the bright foliage and the sunshine, you can never go wrong with a trek here.
It's warm enough to stay awhile. Fortunately you can drive most of the way, so you won't work up a sweat!
But that doesn't mean you can't explore the trail beneath the overlook. This is the best time to do so!
When the weather cools down in the fall, you'll want to enjoy the last of the sunshine at this overlook.
The vibrant colors are truly amazing when the autumn trees reach as far as the eye can see!
The winter views are possibly the most breath taking, though. If you love seeing snow on trees, this is a great place to visit!
Unfortunately, you can't drive to the top because they close the road. If you walk about 6 miles roundtrip, you can still access the overlook.
And the hike is totally worth it. Especially since the weather never gets too frigid in Morgantown, West Virginia.
It's magical to experience the first warm day at the overlook. That's why it's hard to give a parking spot during spring!
No matter the time of year, a trip to Cooper's Rock Overlook is a good idea!
