Creamy Chicken Pot Pie with Puff Pastry
Prepare your ingredients before you begin.

Place potatoes in pot of cold salted water. Bring to boil. Add carrots. Cook until tender. Remove.

Meanwhile, melt butter in skillet. Add shallot and garlic. Cook 1-2 minutes to soften.

Add chicken. Cook another minute or two to warm through. Stir in flour, salt and tarragon.

Mix in milk and cream. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens.

Mix in wine, potatoes, carrots and peas.

Transfer to a large baking dish and top with a sheet of puff pastry. Cut holes to vent.

Bake 30 minutes or until puff pastry is golden brown.
