3D Paper Texture Chart
Supplies needed: a few sheets of paper, scissors and liquid glue or glue stick.
Fold your paper twice to get 4 sections. This will be your chart background. Do you see the sections
Cut a piece of the other paper into thin strips. Then cut some more that are wider.
Cut some strips shorter. Fold over to create a loop. Glue ends together.
Glue your loops in a row in the first section of the chart.
Tuck your 2nd row of loops under the first row. Continue adding rows this way until end of section.
My first section is complete! You can carefully press each loop so that they pop up higher.
For the 2nd section I’m going to fold the wider strips into zig zags.
Glue the top flap of the zigzag strip and then gently pull down end of strip to glue at the bottom.
Repeat the rows of zig zags to complete the section, only adding glue under top and bottom edge.
I looped and folded. What else can you do to make paper textures? Twist, curl, crumple?
Complete your chart and post a photo in your Teams Art channel!
