Daal Gosht - Instant Pot
Turn IP on. Add 1/2 cup oil / ghee & 1 kg meat (bone-in). Mix it up a little

Add in 3 tbsp ginger garlic paste. Sauté it all a few mins

Add 2 diced tomatoes & 3/4 cup fried onions. Mix it all up.

Add powdered spices and whole spices (detailed quantities shared on post). Mix it up for a few mins. Add in a tbsp of water to avoid burning.

Add in 1 & 1/4 cup chana daal (soaked an hour) & 3 cup water.

Cover lid. Turn vent to seal. Pressure cook 15 mins

Quick release. Remove meat into another bowl

Blend Daal with hand blender. Add in meat again.

Tarka:heat oil. fry sliced onion. Add in 1.5 tsp whole cumin, 6-8 whole red chilies; 1 chopped garlic clove; slit green chilies and curry leaves.

Pour tarka over Daal Gosht

Instant Pot Daal Gosht tiyaar hai ! Serve with Naan or boiled rice
