2 Days, 7 Hikes In Zion National Park, Utah
CANYON OVERLOOK TRAIL- great hike for your first glimpse of the park.
An easy 1 mile out and back trail. Keep your eye out for mountain goats along the way!
ANGELS LANDING- adventurous hiker, this is for you!
Start off with an easy ascent, then hit Walter’s Wiggle. 21 steep switchbacks!
After a rest at Scout Lookout, start climbing Angels Landing.
Use the chains and railings for support as you walk along a narrow ledge on the cliff side.
Get to the top and be rewarded with views like this! Tip: start early in the morning to beat the heat and crowds.
THE NARROWS- hike through the Virgin River and Zion Canyon. This hike is only open during certain times of the year so plan ahead.
RIVERSIDE WALK- an easy 1.9 mile out and back paved trail along the river. Deer and other wildlife frequent this area.
WEEPING ROCK- easy, accessible path, only 0.4 mile long. Stand under the dripping runoff and admire the scenic views.
EMERALD POOLS- 3 mile loop trail to three different levels with pools. One of the most popular hikes in the park!
Walk underneath some of the falls. The trail can be slippery from the water. Each falls fills each of the pools.
The top pool is a perfect place for a picnic!
TAYLOR CREEK TRAIL- located in the Kolob Canyon section of the park, this 5 mile round trip trail is secluded and less busy than many of the others.
Enjoy a peaceful walk through the canyon with creek crossings and historic log cabins along the way.
At the end of the Taylor Creek Trail you’ll arrive at the Double Arch Alcove. Perfect spot for a rest before heading back.
