Delicious Chicken Empanadas
In the bowl, combine flour, salt, & sugar. Add in melted butter, followed by enough water to create a smooth dough. Form into a disc and refrigerate.
Drizzle oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add onion & garlic & cook. Stir in chicken & season with paprika, cumin, salt, black pepper, & chili.
Preheat oven to 350˚F. Line two baking sheets with parchment. roll the dough into a thin sheet. Use a circular cutter to cut out circles of dough.
Place chicken mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling, & press the edges together to seal.
Place the empanadas two inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Brush the tops with beaten egg & bake until golden, 20-25 minutes. Serve & enjoy!
