Deliciously Moist Oreo Cake
Gather and weight all your ingredients

In a large bowl, sift the dry ingredients, then add the butter, bit by bit, mixing well after each add.

Add the milk, cream and vanilla extract and whisk to combine

Continue whisking until pale and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes

Separate the eggs, add eggs white into a large bowl, add a pinch of salt and whisk until it forms stiff peaks

Gently fold the crushed Oreos into the batter making sure to distribute evenly

Finally, fold in the egg whites until everything is well combined

Divide equally into three 7 inch prepped tins and level out using a knife

Bake at 170C/325F/Gas 3 for 22-25 minutes or until tops spring back when gently pressed down.

Cover with whipped cream or with my buttercream recipe (see link) and enjoy (I prefer whipped cream 😊)
