Determine the approximate distance you want between your tiers. The larger hoop will be on top
1
Use pliers to separate links of the gold chain and break it into the desired length
2
Attach each section of chain to both hoops
3
Continue adding chain sections connecting the hoops. I recommend 3 or 4 total
4
Thread the cord of the pendant through the small gold ring
5
Determine the appropriate length of chain needed to connect the small gold ring to your top hoop
6
Attach 3 chain sections to the small gold ring and top hoop
7
You will now have the base of your chandelier complete!
8
Take your yarn and wrap it around the box you selected to form a tassel. I recommend 16 times
9
When you have wrapped the yarn around 16 times, cut it off, then cut off a 5/6 inch section
10
Use that yarn section to tie the top of the yarn together, then cut the yarn on the other side
11
Cut off another 5/6 inch section of yarn and make a finishing knot around the top of the tassel
12
Create a loop, wrap the yarn repeatedly over it, pull the other end through the loop, then knot
Once you have made enough tassels, tie them onto each hoop then trim off the extra yarn
13
Hang it up, add a lightbulb, and you’re done!
