Quikrete Concrete Mix
2 (A & Z)
8” Paper Mache Letters
1
Joint Compound
Serrated/Craft Knife
1x3 Wood
Mister Saw
Beacon Multi Grip Glue
Gloss White Spray Paint/Primer
Clear Matte Sealer

Cut along the edge of the letters & remove the top & inside support.

Spray the letters with a gloss paint to create a slick surface for concrete.

Mix your concrete according to instructions.

Scoop concrete inside of the letter forms.

Once the concrete has set, gently remove paper mache.

Using a plastic putty knife, apply joint compound to the concrete letter. Let dry & seal.

Cut down 4 pieces of 1x3, 2 @ 7” and 2 @ 10”

Using wood glue & clamps, make an “L” shape base for each letter.

Using a multi-grip adhesive, attach the concrete letter to the wood base. Let glue set for 24 hours.

That’s it! You can do any letters you’d like. Initials, XO, etc. Have fun with it 💖
