DIY Felt Pocket Organizer
Materials: 12x18 felt sheets, wooden dowel, scissors, pins, thread, piece of cord and ruler.
1
Mark about 1¹/²" on top and pin. This will be for the wooden dowel.
2
Sew in place. I'm using a zig zag stitch.
3
Fold your second felt sheet in half horizontally and cut. Fold again and cut. You will get 4 pieces.
4
Place your cut pieces on top of the first felt sheet leaving about 1/2 inch of space in between them.
5
I decided to cut one of the pieces 1" shorter.
6
Pin the pieces in place.
7
Sew all around using a straight stitch.
8
Now sew the bottom part of the middle and top pieces.
9
Sew right in the middle so you make 6 pockets. I used a straight stich.
10
Add the wooden dowell on top and tie the cord on both sides. Cut the excess cord.
11
And that is all. Your pocket organizer is ready for you to use.
