DIY Kokedama feat. Rabbit’s Foot Fern 🐰
Pick a plant! Any plant in 2”-4” pot will work great! This is a Rabbit’s Foot Fern.
1
Pick a holding vessel. I’m using a handmade ceramic sponge holder found on ETSY
2
Moss to wrap the kokedama. I’m using dried Spanish moss. Sheet moss will work great as well.
3
Use fishing wire, thread, twine, etc. to wrap the moss
4
Remove plant from pot. Squeeze off excess soil while keeping roots undisturbed.
5
Wrap moss around the root ball and secure with thread
6
Mist to set your kokedama
7
Care: soak kokedama in water thoroughly once a week. Mist on a regular basis for plants that require more humidity.
