Empty Girl Scout Cookie box

Different Trim
Mark 3 & a half inches around box. Cut.

Continue to cut, leaving 1 side uncut.

Cut another box open and cut off sides, measure to fit width of 1st box.

Glue box together, secure with tape.

Find middle of front, sides and flap.

Poke hole in flap, Mod Podge fabric on both sides of flap.

Cut extra fabric off for bottom and backside area and glue onto box.

I used a roll techique for front part of flap.

Braid 3 strains of leather and attach next to roll.

Poke holes in box. Measure, cut fabric, & Mod Podge onto box.

Poke holes through fabric with scissors, use grommet cutter tool, wood block, and hammer to create hole.

It might take a couple of times to get the hole through.

Place grommet in metal tray, raised part is under fabric, facing up through the hole.

Place concaved grommet end towards fabric,round tool through hole,& hammer the tool end.

Measure sides, cut cardboard a little shorter than sides, glue and wrap fabric. Glue straps in.

Glue insets into box.

Make the other 2 insets and glue in place.

Test diff. Fastner options.

Sew snaps on.

Mod Podge over all of purse, one side at a time, letting dry fully before continuing over sides.

I adding glitter paint to my edges.
