Double Chocolate Cherry Cereal Bars
Grease 8x8 pan with butter.

Drain and chop maraschino cherries.

Add butter to heavy pan, cut into pats.

Melt butter and let it brown just a bit.

Add marshmallows, salt, and cocoa powder.

Stir over low heat just until melted.

Add cherries once you see only a few white streaks from the marshmallows.

Add cereal, and stir gently to coat.

Quickly pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly.

Add chopped chocolate to another pan and melt gently over low heat.

Drizzle chocolate over cereal bars.

Let the chocolate harden for 15-20 minutes before you cut it.

Store any leftovers in a tightly sealed container on your counter.
