Easy Flip Into Hip Hang On Aerial Yoga Sling

This is not a tutorial on cutting your own hair during quarantine!

Make sure sling is the set to the height of your hip bones or a little higher

The normal (boring) way, but not today!

Hands shoulder height, tight grip, knuckles facing each other, thumbs face you body

Little jump, tuck, backflip - pulling yourself over onto the sling

Make sure your hands aren’t too low and pay attention to where you’re going to land

Think about landing on your thighs but don’t worry if you overshoot the first few times!

Reset grip, think about landing on thighs and let hands slide down the fabric as hips hit the sling

Give it a try! Slow and controlled.

Also try coming into a front balance with chest lifted, switching hand direction after the flip

Same thing, lift chest and switch hands

Try to come into a front balance for a moment, squeezing butt and engaging back to lift chest

Reverse it! Grab on above your hips, tuck and flip out forwards bringing feet to the ground.
