Easy Lemon Cake With Cream Cheese Glaze
Whisk together 1 3/4 cup flour, 2 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda and 1/2 tsp salt

Add in the lemon zest and mix well

Beat 1/2 cup butter and 1 1/4 cup sugar till well combined

Add the eggs and yolk one by one mixing well between each addition

With your mixer on low add the buttermilk + lemon juice and the flour mix in two alternating additions each, mixing until just combined

Put batter in greased and floured 8 or 9 inch cake pan and bake at 350F for 35-45 minutes (less time for the larger pan)

Mix 2 ounces cream cheese until smooth

Sift in your icing sugar and mix on low speed

Add 1 tbsp lemon juice

Add 3 tbsp of cream and mix well

Spread icing over cooled cake
