Easy Sourdough Bread!
Starter: 1/2 c. Flour & 1/2 c. Water, feed it 2 Tbsp flour/water for 7 days until it doubles.

Weather/temperature affect your starter, keep it at room temp. around 70 degrees.

3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 Tbsp. honey, 3/4 c. starter & 1 c. warm water. Stir together.

Rest for 10 min. Then in a standing mixer fitted with a dough hook, mix for 5 minutes on setting #2.

Transfer your dough to a large greased bowl, cover it & let it rest for 3 hours.

Turn & fold your dough, leaving it seam side up, re-cover & let rest for 2 more hours.

Dust dough & a piece of parchment paper w/ flour. Lift up dough & tuck the sides to build tension.

Flour your dough again and using a bench scraper, continue to tuck the edges to build tension.

Preheat your Dutch oven for 40 minutes at 450 degrees F. While your dough rests/rises again.

Flour the top of your dough & slash it with a serrated knife. Cook in Dutch oven for 15 min.

Take the top off & cook for another 15 min. When your bread is done cool for 30-60 min.
