Measure your wrist. On the felt mark 1”, then a 1/2” less then your wrist measurement, then 1”

Reposition your felt in the hoop so you can finish your design

After you finish the embroidery, remove felt from the hoop and cut out the strip

Choose a backing. This will be 1/4” shorter than embroidery on each side. Mark 1/4” in on each side

Put both layers into the embroidery hoop

Attach your backing using a whip stitch. Stitch both long edges, between the two marks you made

When you’ve finished whip stitching tie off the back, remove from the hoop and cut backing to size

Insert the felt into the buckle on both sides. You can double check length now as well

Whip stitch the folded over felt to the backing, tie off. Repeat with both sides
