She was born in New York City in 1930, she is 91 years old.
Here are some of her beautiful quilts. They all tell a story and share her beliefs.
Faith was a civil rights leader and gender equality activist. She believed in fairness and equality for all human beings.

1) 1 Sheet Of White Paper
1 Sharpie Pen
Fold your paper and cut on the fold to make a square. Like this!

With a ruler, make a one inch border around your square paper.

Think of a memory for your quilt. Something you did with your family, a holiday, a best friend, a pet, a favorite hobby or sport!

Fold your paper so it has four parts... For the: Title, Who, What and Where.

First, design the border with a pattern.

Square 1: “Title” in fancy letters.

Square 2: “Who” was in your memory or story?

Square 3: “Where” did it take place?

Square 4: “What” were you doing?

Sharpie and add color!
