Farmhouse Dining Table With Glaze
Before, time to prep

Sand down to bare wood using multiple grits

Do edges by hand

Create your gel stain with a mix of 1/4 Windsor gray, 1/4 Kensington black and 1/2 hazel mahogany

Apply three light coats with a foam brush in direction of grain

Do edges first then top portion with gel stain

Time to paint base. First clean with clean slate. Then paint with Serengeti Grey one step paint

Use a synthetic brush

Seal base with one coat matte sealer. Seal top with 4 coats matte sealer.

Before last couple coats of matte sealer lightly sand with 400 grit sandpaper

Create glaze with 2 parts glazed over and 1 part Kensington black gel stain

Apply generously and let sit for 10-30 seconds

Wipe back with clean lint free cloth

Let dry and enjoy the bragging rights!
