Fiery Prawn Masala
On medium heat oil and add onions

Once onions are coated with oil add in chili flakes

Next add your ginger (paste, grated, purée, whatever you have on hand)

Mix and add in tomatoes and sliced garlic

For color and a rich masala add in tomato paste

In go salt & spices

Use any size prawns/shrimp. I used large deveined ones.

The masala will thicken as you cook, add some warm water to it to ensure it doesn’t stick or burn

Add in your prawns, if using frozen they should be defrosted

Once prawns are cooked add in lemon juice + garnish with fresh cilantro.
