Flavorful Green Beans in mustard seeds
Prep your veggies- chop green beans, tomatoes and green chilies.
In olive oil, add mustard seeds. Cover the pan for a second as seeds start spluttering.
Add beans & stir well. *Note- seeds can burn easily so be sure to do this quickly to avoid burning.
Add a teaspoon of turmeric and salt to your taste. Stir πŸ₯„
Add 2 large chopped πŸ… as a layer on top of the beans; bring heat to a low, cover with a lid & cook
Tomatoes will help moisten and soften the beans. Cook covered without stirring at this point.
Add green chilis to beans and tomatoes; give it a good stir and cover. Total cooking ⏰- 12 minutes!
Beans have a wonderful nutty aroma with mustard seeds and a lots of tang with the tomatoes! Enjoy!
