Fresh Radish pickle without Preservatives
Peel off the Radish skin. Then cut it in semi thick round slices. (I used 1 medium size Raddish)

Next, cut the round slices into thin strips (cutting round slices help keep them cut consistent)

Add 3-4 tablespoon mustard or regular oil in a pan. Keep the flame high and the oil for 30 seconds or less

When oil heats, add 1 tbsp jeera and let it splitter

Then add half tbsp hing (asafoetida)

Now, add 2 medium-sized green chillies (or to taste)and sauté for 20 seconds

When the chilli is fried slightly, it’s time to add your cut mooli(Radish) 🙌🏼

Now,add salt per your taste, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1/2 tbsp chilli powder, 1tbsp mustard powder and 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder or per your taste.

Now mix it well and let it be on the stove for less than one minute. This will let the Radish stay crispy and yummmy

Your Fresh radish pickle is ready! You can store it for 3-4 days in refrigerator. No preservatives, no need to add lime either. Yummy as is.

I serve it as a fresh pickle with Bajra Roti and Mooli pata (Greens) curry and dal! Healthy and yummy.
