Fried Dal Beans Curry (Paruppu Usili)

Black Mustard Seeds

Orid Dal (pulses)

Asafoetida
2 ladels
Gingelly Oil (Preferably)
1 Cup Green Beans
Soak 2 ladels of Toor Dal,1 ladel of Chana Dal & 1 tsp of Moong Dal for 15 mins!Add 1 dry red chilli

Add salt to taste & asafoetida to the soaked pulses or lentils!

Boil the beans in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles! Add 1/4 tsp of salt & a pinch of turmeric & boil

Grind the pulses mix into a nice paste

Heat 2 ladels of oil,add 1 tsp mustard seeds,1 tsp toor dal,1 tsp chana dal & saute!

Add the ground pulses paste until they separate

The ground pulses has separated! Add the boiled beans and mix well!
