Garden & Pantry Hummus
Let's get stared

Gather fresh basil and garlic from your garden if you have them

Get a can of chickpeas from your pantry

And some lemon juice from the fridge

Drain your chickpeas, keep the juice

Put chickpeas and 1 tablespoon of garlic in your manual food processor

Add lemon basil leaves

And 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Add a little of the saved chickpea water

Process until smooth

Then enjoy with your favorite peppers, veggies, breads and/or crackers

If you want it even smoother, blend it in you cooking blender

Leftovers may be stored in your manual food processor, carefully remove the blade first
