Geometric Paper Sculpture
Inspired by the work of Arline Schulman on display at WMA!
Supplies needed: construction paper, crayons, scissors, and glue.
Choose one piece of construction paper for the base of your sculpture and set it aside.
Choose at least three more pieces of construction paper to create your sculptural shapes.
Optional: With your crayons, create fun patterns and shapes on your 3 pieces of paper. You can decorate your base, too.
Create your sculpture by cutting out strips from your 3 pieces of construction paper. Then fold, twist, bend, and or crumple those strips.
Glue your shapes to your base, and maybe even to each other! Build your masterpiece!
Let it dry and enjoy your creation!
