Add spice cake or gluten free spice cake into a mixing bowl.

Meanwhile make the pumpkin pudding by combining the vanilla pudding mix with milk.

Add the pumpkin purée and stir to combine. Place in the fridge to set.

Cut the cooled cake in 1 inch cubes.

Place 1/2 of the cake crumbles into the bottom of a trifle dish.

Top with 1/2 of the pudding and spread around the whole surface area.

Sprinkle with heath bits and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Top with remaining cake pieces.
