Place the flaxseeds in a food processor or blender.

Whizz into a fine powder.

Place in a bowl and mix together with all the other ingredients.

Transfer into a loaf tin lined with baking paper.

Sprinkle over seeds to decorate, if desired.

Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, until an inserted skewer comes out clean.

Transfer onto a wire rack to cool.
