Grandma’s Turkey Dressing
Trim the crust off 1/2 loaf of whole wheat white bread, then cut into bite sized pieces

Let bread cubes dry out on a sheet pan (takes 1-2 days)

Melt 4 T butter in a skillet over medium-low heat

Slice 1/2 cup celery and 1 cup onion

Sauté onions and celery in melted butter until a bit tender

Add parsley and sage to season

Add dried bread cubes to veggies, drizzle with turkey drippings/broth until slightly damp

Add dressing to 2qt. baker. Add more broth if needed, but don’t get bread soggy!

Bake at 350F for 30-45 minutes, stirring a few times

Remove when golden brown, mostly tender but a little crispy
