Green Beans with Almonds
Prepare your ingredients before you begin.

Add the green beans to boiling water to blanch. Cook 2-3 minutes.

Drain the water from the green beans and immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water.

Melt butter in a large skillet. Add almonds and cook, stirring frequently, until lightly toasted.

Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and shallot. Cook 1-2. minutes to soften.

Add the green beans and sauté, stirring often, until warmed through.
