Green lentil curry (moong dal sabzi)
Add cumin seeds to hot oil

Add a cup of chopped onions

Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, a teaspoon each of cumin and coriander powder, and salt

Add turmeric and let it cook for about 30 seconds

Add tomatoes and green chillies

Cook for about 5-6 minutes till the tomatoes soften

Add chili powder (optional)

Add 3 cups of green lentils (moong)

Add 2 cups of water and mix well. Pressure cook for 10 minutes.

When cooking is done, release pressure immediately

Add cilantro, garam masala (0.5 tsp) and lime juice to taste.

Enjoy with rice or roti
