HALLOWEEÑO JALAPEÑO POPPERS 8oz cream cheese 8oz jack cheese, 1 scallion, 1 can of crescent rolls, roughy 10 jalapenos. Cut jalapenos in half, lengthwise leave the stem, remove seeds and membranes w/spoon. Preheat oven 400° mix 8 oz cream cheese, 8 oz jack cheese, 1 finely chopped scallion, 1/2 tsp salt. Fill each pepper with the cream cheese mixture, packing tightly. Divide crescent rolls into four rectangles. Press together tightly at seems. Cut into long thin strips with pizza cutter. Take 2-3 strips of dough (depending on size) and wrap jalapeno like a mummy. leave room for eyes. In a small bowl, beat your egg and brush top of dough on each jalapeño with egg wash Bake in for 10-12 min or until golden brown. Press eyes in opening Serve with a homemade ranch dip. 1/2 cup each of yogurt & sour cream. 1/2 tsp of each garlic & onion powder, dill & chives S&P Add a combination of or all the following. 2 tbs minced fresh cilantro, 3 tbs bacon, minced garlic.
