Cook the meat and diced onions in a pan until meat is browned and onions are transparent, then add seasonings and cook for another minute.
Boil the pasta in water according to the package instructions. Drain the excess cooking water.
Combine the browned meat and onions with the pasta sauce, boiled pasta and heavy cream in a 12x8 inch casserole dish.
Top the casserole with shredded cheese.
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden at the edges. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
