For today's project, we start with some cardboard scraps. Any old scraps will do, because to start..
1
...we're just going to fill it with as many hearts as we can. We went with ones about an inch tall.
2
Once we have all of those, we'll use our scissors to cut each one out and make our little pile.
3
next, grab your paint! We'll use red (classic), but if another color speaks to you, go with it!
4
Nicely done! Not too much paint should be needed for these.
5
Now we need to get them ready to hang. That starts with poking or punching a hole right here...
6
...so that this is what each of the hearts looks like afterwards.
7
At this point it's just a manner of stringing them all up onto this stick!
8
Cut length for each heart a couple inches longer than how far down you want the heart to hang.
9
That way, after you thread one end through the hole...
10
...You have enough slack on that end to tie it off to the heart.
11
Then, once all the hearts are ready...
12
...You'll have enough slack on the *other* end to tie it to the stick itself.
13
Finally, we want this to hang on the wall. So we cut one last long length, tie a loop in the middle-
14
-And then tie either of that loop's ends to the edges of the stick. Voila! Wall art!
