Homemade Cinnamon Raisin Bread
Add raisins to small pot, cover with water, and simmer for 10 minutes.

After raisins simmer, drain and blot to dry thoroughly.

While raisins summer, start the dough. Slice butter so it melts more quickly.

Heat milk and butter until just melted. Add honey and whisk to combine. Place in bowl and add yeast.

Add 2 cups flour and mix.

Add eggs and beat to combine.

Add salt and remaining flour, then mix on low until it comes together.

Once bread is thoroughly kneaded, add raisins and mix again.

Once mixed, cover with a towel and let rise one hour.

Melt butter, and mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.

Roll out half the dough into a long rectangle. Brush with butter and sprinkle with sugar mixture.

Roll up as tightly as possible from the short end, then pinch end to seal.

Place loaves, seam side down, into greased loaf pans. Cover with a towel, and let rise 1 hour.

Once risen, baste the top of each loaf with a beaten egg.

Bake at 375 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
