Homemade Clarified Butter
Place 1 pound of butter in a medium saucepan

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat

When is starts to boil, reduce heat to low and simmer

As it simmers, the milk solids will foam and fall out

After the milk solids fall out, the water will boil off
5
Set up a strainer and coffee filter over a 1 pint jar
6
Carefully pour the butter through the strainer
7
This step will remove all the milk solids
8
Stored clarified butter in the refrigerator
