Homemade Lasagna With Fresh Veggies

Cook 1 lb of ground beef + 1/2 lb of ground sausage

Add 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 can of tomato sauce & 1 can of tomato paste

Add diced basil

Sprinkle parsley, salt & pepper to taste and let simmer

In the meantime, chop half an onion

Press 2 cloves of garlic

And chop 1 cup of fresh basil

Sauté onions

Add garlic & cook for 2 minutes

Add 4 cups of spinach

Cook until soft

Transfer to a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of cottage cheese & 1 cup of ricotta cheese

Add 1 cup of shredded mozzarella & 1/2 cup of shredded Parmesan

Add two eggs & mix

In a greased 13x9 inch pan, layer meat, cheese & cooked noodles

Smoke uncovered for 1 hour

Cook at 350*F for 45 minutes
