Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Place the cookie cutter on top of parchment paper on a baking sheet.

Spray the inside of the cookie cutter with cooking spray. Ensure all sides are coated.

In a single layer, add pieces of peppermint candies to cover the inside of the star.

Bake the peppermint candies in the 350 degree oven for 5-10 minutes. Let it cool.

After 5 minutes of cooling. Remove the excess peppermint candy from the cookie cutter.

Slowly push the candy star from the cookie cutter!

Hot glue the star to the top of the peppermint tree (see my profile for peppermint tree tutorial).
