Homemade Sauce in the Deluxe Cooking Blender!
Weigh out 3 lbs tomatoes

Core tomatoes

Place cored tomatoes in boiling water for about 30 seconds (until skin starts to crack)

Remove tomatoes from boiling water and place into ice bath

Peel tomatoes and cut in half or quarters (depending on size)

Add tomatoes and fresh basil to Deluxe Cooking Blender and choose the SAUCE setting

Blender will run until it reaches 176 degrees. Then it will pause at the “add” stage

Pour sauce into stainless mesh colander to strain out the seeds

Add: 2 scoops vegetable purée, 1 can tomato paste, strained sauce, 1 1/2 Tbsp Italian Seasoning

Push start and blender will run until sauce is finished. Enjoy!
