Homemade Superfood Granola
Why homemade granola?
Preheat oven to 300F and in the meantime ...

In a large bowl add 3 cups old fashioned oats

2 cups shaved almonds

1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

3 Tbsp chia seeds

2 Tbsp flax seeds

2.5 - 3 Tbsp cinnamon

About 1/2 tsp sea or Himalayan salt

On a separate bowl melt 3 Tbsp coconut oil

Add 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

1 - 2 Tbsp vanilla

Pour over dry ingredients & stir until combined

Spread granola onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper in an even layer.

Bake for 30 min (stirring half way through)

Let it cool down and store in an airtight container.
