Homemade Waffle Cones
Add egg and sugar to a bowl and whisk for two minutes.

Add vanilla, milk, melted butter, salt, and flour, whisking between each addition.

Once mixed, let it rest for 30 minutes.

Preheat waffle cone maker (mine to 3.5), and add a scant quarter cup of batter. Cook approximately 2 minutes.

Very carefully (it's extremely hot!) remove the cooked waffle cone.

Immediately roll it using your cone shape, making sure the bottom is sealed. Let it rest while you make your next cone.

Store cones in glasses to help them retain their shape until they fully harden. Add ice cream and use them quickly!
