Honey Garlic Shrimp Stovetop Rice Casserole

Heat Cast iron dutch oven over medium heat. Add in 2 tbsp of oil. Add in 1 white onion chopped.

Add in 2 cups of long grain rice, 1 tbsp of fresh ginger, and 1 tbsp of salt. Mix together.

Press in 3 cloves of garlic and add 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes. Stir in ingredients.

Add 2 cups of chicken broth and 3 cups of water. Reduce Med -Low heat, cover and simmer for 10 mins

Add in 3 cups of broccoli, stir to combine and cover again. Simmer for 10 mins.

Heat in saucepan - 1/4 cup of honey, 2 tsp of soy sauce

Press in 1 garlic clove into sauce

Mix 1 tsp of Cornstarch + 1 tbsp of water. Add to sauce to thicken. Bring to simmer and it's ready

Add in 1 lb of uncooked,peeled and deveined shrimp. Cover to cook.

Stir every 5 mins for 10 mins or until shrimp is cooked

Serve with honey garlic sauce and top with green onions
