How to Butterfly Forward Fold using your props
Get your props! You will need a blanket and a bolster
Seat on top of a blanket to elevate the hips, and bring the soles of the feet together
Bring the hands to the low back to notice that you're not rounding. If you round, that means you need more height under the pelvis.
For a gentle stretch bring the heels away from your body creating a diamond shape with your legs
For a deeper stretch, and more sensations, bring the heels close to your body
Bring the arms by your side lengthening the spine, hinge at the hips and fold forward. If it feels comfortable, you can rest your hands on the mat,
Or you can use a bolster or blocks to support your forehead for extra comfort
