How To Change Colors At The End Of A Crochet Row
Work to end of row, but on the last stitch stop 1 step early. Here I stopped before finishing my single crochet.
1
Drop the first color & pick up the 2nd color.
2
Yarn over in new color.
3
Pull through with new color. Pull tail of old color to tighten stitch slightly.
4
Turn your work, put both color tails across the first stitch on to the other side of your work.
5
With new color, ch 1.
6
Insert hook in first stitch, lay both tails along top of your row.
7
Complete the single crochet, working over both yarn tails.
8
Keep the tails lined up on top of the stitches as you continue to work single crochets across the row.
9
Cut yarn and weave in ends.
